DESG BASIC CURRICULUM PDF Print E-mail
For an effective Therapeutic Education of people with diabetes, health care professionals need to change many time-honoured attitudes, in order to acquire competencies and skills which have not traditionally been taught in professional or medical schools, and to organize differently their professional time and space with respect to the way it is usually utilised.
This Curriculum was drafted by a multi-professional group of DESG experts. Its aim is to propose a model of basic systematic training of health care professionals in therapeutic patient education. The learning objectives for patients are not included in this document, and can be found in the DESG Teaching Letters.

The electronic version of the BASIC CURRICULUM FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS ON DIABETES THERAPEUTIC EDUCATION is now available for download on the website.
