Patient Education Basics' List
These documents were produced by the DESG with the General Practitioner in mind. Dealing particularly with type 2 diabetes, which is most commonly managed in general practice, they address two essential questions:
-
How can we deliver, in a few minutes, useful information to the patient regarding better management of his/her diabetes?
-
How can we be sure that advice will be followed by the patient once he/she returns home?
Patient Education Basics Brochure
Extracts from all the Patient Education Basics produced so far, have been arranged in a comprehensive brochure, titled You have Type 2 Diabetes: Meaning and Implications, which focuses on some of the most frequent difficulties that may be faced in following long-term treatment, and possible ways of overcoming them.
We wish to thank Servier, for the distribution of these documents.
